Not in the mood for uploading photos

Hay Friends,
How are you feeling today ? I have done a hole lot of things already today and I am tired.
The things I have done are just mundane things nothing exciting, but I am still tired.

I love the computer!! It was brand new to me last January when Tom bought it for me. He got a good deal on this very used computer. It is a 98. It had been in a business. A Parts House, Auto parts. It got a lot of use there. When he got it home it did not work. Tom took it back and then brought it back home a few days later and it worked. That was January this year. I had never used a computer before! I took to it like a duck to water! I loved it !!! I could e mail my grand-daughter!!! See pictures that I would have never seen of her. We have gotten so much closer than we had ever been before. I love that. By Jan. 30th I was going to town. On May 3th it quit !!! Tom took it to a computer repair shop. They had it 26 days. Boy did I miss it!!!
I had started to blog and blogging felt good to me. It is the outlet that I needed.
I have a lot to talk to you about. I was hurt very badly when I was a child and when I blog about
it, it helps me a lot.
Do you want to hear all the hurts I lived through when I was a child ?

I will be very interested in your answer.

I need friends and I am not very popular with anyone but my family and my blog friends!!
Love you all, Fern

  1. Hi Fern,

We are always happy to see that you have blogged and to read what you have to say.

Aren't computers wonderful when they work like they should? But when they don't, it's a real pain in the patootie.

  2. Hi Fern

We are glad to be you friends and would be interested in hearing about your life. We missed your last post for some reason and it was interesting. I think my husband may be dyslexic too and I know he struggles to read but will if the subject matter interests him, so I can relate to your situation.

Hope you have a great weekend in Sunny Florida. We used to live near West Palm Beach but moved back to Massachusetts 3 years ago to be nearer to family.

  3. Hi Fern,
I ALWAYS enjoy hearing from you. We all need someone to listen to us. I'm happy if I can help by listening. If you asked Madi how I took the pictures she would tell you that I follow her snapping pictures at her in every room of the house but I DON'T!!! I do let her potty in peace!!! HA!! Have a good weekend.
    Madi and Mom

  4. Hi Fern, Thank you for sharing about blogging and yes we all would like to hear about your early life~then I know how to pray for you.
Hope you have a wonderful weekend.
    Hugs, Noreen

My Doggy Nanny loves having her khomputer too!

    Happy Friday!

  6. Hi Fern,
I have a desktop. We grew tired of the slow Dial up. In April we changed to fast high speed connection with our phone service, which is good there is no way I could download pictures on dial up.

  7. Ahhh - I fear I spend TOO much time on the computer, but love checking in with you, no matter what you've posted! Also, I have an award for you at my place, so come on over and pick it up!
    Hugs xo

  8. Hi FGern, always like to hear what you have to say.. I think it helps to get it off your chest sometimes.. Hugs GJ xx

  9. You just got your computer in January? You must be very smart to have learned so fast. And it was such an old one, too. Very slow, huh? We like visiting you. Please blog whatever you want to talk to us about.

  10. Friends can share anything and we certainly consider you our friend, Fern!
Mom loves the computer because she can email her mom 4-5 times a day. Her mom lives in FL so it's a very nice treat!

    Love ya lots
    Maggie and Mitch

  11. OMGosh - I can't believe your computer is that old and works! They are a lot of fun and I must admit I'm quite addicted to blogging too. It's a nice way to socialize and find inspiration to do more. Remember though, whatever is out there will stay forever for all to see.

  12. Hello Fern, we love computers too - sometimes we spend too much time on them though!

Share whatever you feel comfortable with - blogging can be a type of therapy so if it helps please go ahead. We all cope in different ways.

    Have a great weekend
    D, Sally and Paddy

  13. Hi Fern! See? Moma catches up, eventually!

We are amazed and impressed with all you have learned about the computer in such a short time! They say it takes good intuition to learn it easily, so you must be well supplied with that!

We enjoy reading what you write, and hope you will continue to write whatever you feel comfortable with. We all have happy stories and sad stories. People. And dogs. And cats. Everyone. It's nice to share both the good times and the bad times. You've got a friendly group of readers here. That you can count on.
