December 22 2010

Merry Christmas everyone!!!! This is my last post before Christmas. I will post after tho...........

Today is my birthday!!! I usually don't tell everyone when and how about my b-day. The reason is b/c I am so old.

Today I turn 75 years old!!!
I know you all thought I was a lot younger............... Wish you had been right !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

We hope you all have a great Christmas with your family and friends. It will be quiet around here. David and Cathy will come but probably not on Christmas. I never know in advance......

Thank you for reading my blog and being a follower!!! See you after.......................

Love coming your way from All the Reed family

PS I wasn't going to tell you, but now I have changer my mind again and I am going to tell you.
I think I am in the beginning stage of Alzheimer's disease. Why you ask?? Well one of the symptoms is if one or more important things about your life changes. Your personality changes!!! One very important thing has changed!!! I use to sew all the time. I use to think about sewing all the time. It was a very big thing in my life. Now I can't sew. I have forgotten how !!!!
I go in the sewing room and draw a blank.
I use to keep my house real nice outside and inside. Now it is a mess and I don't care. I just don't care and that was not the other me. When company was coming I would clean and even paint sometimes. Everything would look good. Now -------- nothing !!!!!!!

Happy Birthday to me !!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

  6. Happy Birthday my dear friend...I mailed your card yesterday.

Listen to me Fern, if you truly believe you are in the early stages, go see a Dr. NOW!
But, I have to tell you something...I think you are fine...I think you have just channeled all your energy, interest in a different direction, your wonderful blog! I bet you never thought you would be using a computer, much less producing your own web page! Think about all the technology you have learned.

When you were busy sewing and cleaning house years ago, you didn't have a computer for entertainment. Blogging is very time-consuming.

Honey, I think you are sharp as a tack!
Your interests have changed, that all...

You're a Hip Chick, remember that, OK?

Sending extra big hugs to you today,
    Kit

  10. My dear friend Fern, Happy Birthday. You are far from being old! As they say we are only as young or old as we want to be! Me - I am 28 and NOT moving! No way -- no how! So pick an age and enjoy! I agree with Mrs. K -- if you think you are having some early signs, go to the Dr. and get it checked out.... I wish you all the happiness on your special day! And have a very Merry Christmas! Enjoy and keep smiling!

  11. Happiest of Birthdays, Miss Fern! I think as long as you're young at heart, then age is just a number to celebrate. Have an extra piece of cake for me!

Fern, if you think you're in the beginning stages of Alzheimer's, please do see a doctor. My grandmother passed away several years ago and she suffered from Alzheimer's. They were just beginning to offer some really wonderful medicines that can really help a great deal. It can really slow the progression of things and help a lot!

  12. HAPPY, HAPPY BIRTHDAY!!! Here's hoping the next year brings joy and good health!

Don't know if you're joking about Alzheimer's or not. If you're not joking, now is the time for an extensive evaluation. Early treatment is crucial and there are many activities and medications that can help.

  14. Happy Belated Birthday!!!

You don't look that old at all, in fact, you look very young. I think as long as you keep your heart young, you're young too!!!

Regarding the Alzheimer's, please get a good check up or a second or third opinion.
